These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WellVersed app and the website getwellversed.app (the "Services"), provided by WellVersed ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms.

1. Your license to use WellVersed

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your own learning. You agree not to copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Services, and not to disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.

2. Religious content & sourcing

WellVersed is an educational tool to help you learn Qur'anic Arabic vocabulary. Word meanings, roots, and transliterations are drawn from the Quranic Arabic Corpus (University of Leeds), and English verse translations use Sahih International; Urdu translations use the rendering of Maulana Maududi. We present this material for study with care, but the App is not a substitute for qualified scholarly instruction. For religious rulings, please consult a knowledgeable scholar.

3. Accounts

You can use core features without an account. If you sign up with your email, you're responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your access secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to consent to these Terms in your jurisdiction.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Some features may require a purchase processed through Google Play Billing and managed via RevenueCat. Prices are shown before you buy. Purchases and any refunds are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and Google's refund policies. Where a subscription is offered, it renews until cancelled through your Google Play account.

5. Acceptable use

• Use the Services lawfully and respectfully.
• Do not upload harmful code or attempt to interfere with other users or our infrastructure.
• Do not use the Services to harass others or infringe anyone's rights.

6. Intellectual property

The WellVersed name, logo, app design, and original content are owned by WellVersed. Third-party linguistic and translation sources remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their applicable licenses.

7. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of inaccuracies.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WellVersed will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Services.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Services.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
